UAE: Lulu Group unveils Ramadan promotional and community initiatives
Lulu Group, a prominent retail chain in the UAE, has announced its extensive plans for Ramadan 2024, aimed at ensuring price stability, providing attractive promotions, and fostering community engagement during this sacred month.
To guarantee a consistent supply of necessary food goods for Ramadan, Lulu Group has set up supply centres across the globe in response to global concerns like inflation and shipping difficulties. In order to ensure affordability for all consumers, the group has instructed suppliers and merchants not to raise prices during Ramadan. This commitment to stable prices has been made.
Customers may anticipate savings of up to 60% on a variety of staple foods and grocery products at all Lulu stores in the United Arab Emirates during Ramadan. Flyers with promotions and social media posts will be used to promote weekly deals on food and non-food products in a variety of categories. Throughout the month of Ramadan, over 5,000 products, including food, groceries, crockery, gadgets, and lifestyle items, will be discounted.
To facilitate budget-friendly shopping, Lulu Group is introducing two sizes of "Ramadan Baskets," priced at 85 dirhams and 120 dirhams, respectively. These baskets will contain essential grocery items such as rice, sugar, milk powder, and pasta, providing convenience and value for shoppers.
In line with its social responsibility initiatives, Lulu Group's Ramadan campaign includes the "Sharing is Caring" donation campaign, now in its 12th year, where the group will donate one dirham for every product sold during Ramadan. Additionally, in partnership with the Emirates Red Crescent, Lulu Group will distribute Ramadan packages and iftar boxes to those in need.
Charitable gift cards, available in denominations of 25 and 50 dirhams, allow individuals to contribute to charitable causes during Ramadan. Moreover, Lulu Group will host "Ramadan Nights" in selected hypermarkets, offering families and friends an opportunity to shop, dine, and enjoy cultural experiences together, fostering a sense of community and celebration.
