UAE Introduces Easy Payment Service for Violations
The Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has introduced a new service, "Easy Payment," aimed at providing customers with the flexibility to pay violations in installments.
Enhancing customer satisfaction
This service covers various offences, including parking violations and toll gate charges at traffic gates known as "Darb." The initiative is designed to simplify the payment process, offering customers easy payment plans to elevate their satisfaction levels with the centre's services.
Participating banks and future agreements
The "Easy Payment" service is currently available through selected banks that have entered into agreements with the Integrated Transport Center. First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and Emirates Islamic Bank are among the participating banks. Holders of credit cards issued by these banks can take advantage of the service, with plans to expand agreements to include other banks in the first half of 2024.
Payment Criteria and Convenient Options
Customers can utilise the service to settle violations issued by the Integrated Transport Centre, provided the total value is at least 3,000 dirhams. The payment can be made through Abu Dhabi Government Services Centers ("Tamm" or customer happiness centres at the main headquarters of Abu Dhabi City Municipality and the main headquarters of the Municipality of Abu Dhabi in Al Ain City. The installment options include 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months, with no interest or profit charges.
Application Process and Collaboration
To benefit from the service, customers can initially pay fines at designated centres using a credit card. Subsequently, they contact the respective bank holding their credit card to submit a request for installment payments based on their preferred period.
Focus on customer convenience.
The Integrated Transport Centre underscores its commitment to streamlining payment processes and offering convenient payment plans. By prioritising customer satisfaction, the centre aims to reinforce Abu Dhabi's standing as one of the world's premier cities for living and investment. This initiative aligns with the broader vision of creating a more seamless and resident-friendly environment within the emirate.
