During the Sharjah Ramadan Festival (SRF), families in the UAE are flocking to the markets in Sharjah to prepare for Eid al-Fitr, taking advantage of the excellent deals and diverse range of products available at competitive prices.
The festival has attracted a significant number of shoppers to various shopping centers throughout the emirate.
Attendees at the festival have the opportunity to benefit from discounts, win prizes, and receive shopping vouchers through various raffle draws, all while enjoying heritage-themed activities and programs that complement the enticing promotions offered by exhibitors.
As part of the Dh1 million prize pool, shoppers are receiving vouchers and prizes, mirroring the tradition of "Eidiyah," where cash gifts are given during Eid al-Fitr. The festival has already distributed Dh300,000 worth of vouchers, with the remaining Dh700,000 set to be given out during events and competitions at shopping centers and pavilions until April 13.
Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal, Director of the Corporate Communication Department at the Sharjah Chamber, highlighted the success of the festival in attracting visitors and providing exclusive offers. He emphasized the diverse shopping promotions and offerings available, including the 'Ramadan Nights' exhibition and the 'Souq Al Freej' market, catering to the needs of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr.
Mohammed Obaid Al Khayyal, Chairman of the Raffles Committee for SRF, mentioned that the festival will continue to offer valuable prizes and gifts through upcoming activities and events, providing a unique shopping experience with special promotions and discounts of up to 75 percent on various household goods, electronics, fashion, and beauty essentials.
The 'Souq Al Freej' market, showcasing products from small and medium-sized businesses, productive families, and entrepreneurs, remains an integral part of the festival. Similarly, the 'Ramadan Nights' exhibition at Expo Centre Sharjah continues to attract large crowds of residents and visitors alike, offering a wide range of products.
