UAE announces the arrival of Second Aid Ship at Al-Arish Port for Gaza Support

The second shipment of Emirati aid, comprising 4,544 tons of humanitarian supplies, has arrived at Al-Arish port, ready for distribution to Gaza.

This initiative, dubbed "Operation Gallant Knight 3," was initiated by President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the people of Gaza.

The arrival of the ship was witnessed by dignitaries including Dr. Sultan Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Maryam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt, among others. The shipment, which departed from Fujairah port on February 3, includes food supplies, shelter materials, and medical aid provided by charitable organizations like the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, as well as the Emirates Red Crescent Authority.

Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi emphasized the UAE's unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, demonstrating a long-standing tradition of humanitarian aid and solidarity during times of crisis. He underscored the UAE's continuous efforts to alleviate the humanitarian challenges faced by Gaza residents through relief and food aid.

Inspecting aid stores in Al-Arish, Dr. Al Neyadi witnessed the extensive contents aimed at bolstering relief efforts for Palestinians amidst ongoing crises. Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Red Crescent, highlighted the UAE's determination to enhance relief efforts and support Palestinians affected by the Gaza conflict.

The UAE's generous contributions to Operation Gallant Knight 3 have surpassed 15,700 tons of aid and involved 162 cargo planes. Additionally, the UAE established six water desalination plants in Gaza, benefiting the local population directly.

Operation Gallant Knight 3, launched in November, symbolizes the UAE's commitment to solidarity with the Palestinian people, grounded in a history of humanitarian work and support during challenging circumstances. The UAE continues to stand by Palestinians, providing vital assistance to alleviate their suffering and rebuild their communities.
