The first of its type in the United Arab Emirates, this cutting-edge cylinder claims to improve boat life and sailing enjoyment. Making the announcement took place during the company's participation in the Dubai International Boat Show, which took place at Dubai Harbour from February 28 to March 3.

This launch is part of the ENOC Group's continuous commitment to providing cutting-edge technologies and advancements in the liquefied petroleum gas sector. The newly introduced cylinder boasts features designed to ensure the highest standards of safety and durability. These include a specialised regulator crafted from premium materials, engineered to meet marine industry standards, offering insulation against water and salinity, a pressure relief valve with a capacity of 75 millibars, and a robust design featuring a high-quality rubber membrane.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC Group, emphasised the group's dedication to upholding the country's highest environmental, health, and safety standards through the introduction of this pioneering composite liquefied gas cylinder for the maritime sector. He expressed confidence that the lightweight cylinder's successful launch will enhance customer confidence and elevate their sailing lifestyle.

In addition to its lightweight and portable design, the new composite gas cylinder for the marine sector boasts a high-quality liquefied petroleum gas hose made from durable rubber with an added 8mm mesh thickness, ensuring the utmost safety for customers while sailing.

Emirates Gas previously introduced the first generation of installed liquefied petroleum gas cylinders in the UAE in 2017. Last year, it rolled out the latest generation of these cylinders in two sizes: 11 kg and 16 kg, underscoring ENOC's ongoing commitment to providing customers with cutting-edge technologies and innovations in the domestic gas sector.

These composite gas cylinders, constructed from lightweight composite materials, feature a semi-transparent structure that enables consumers to monitor the gas level, alerting them when refills are required.
