Dubai announces the addition of two new innovative rail systems

During the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF), the RTA signed two crucial memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with leading companies in the field. The first MoU involves collaboration with the UK-based Urban-Mass Company to explore the development of the Floc Duo Rail system. This cutting-edge double-track system operates autonomously and is driven by electrical power, promising swift and efficient transportation.
The second MoU was signed in partnership with the US-based RAIL BUS Inc., focusing on the creation of a rail bus system. This system is unique in that it will run on a bridge equipped with solar panels, utilizing solar energy to power its operations, aligning with Dubai's commitment to sustainability.
These visionary projects join Dubai's portfolio of futuristic transportation initiatives, including the much-anticipated introduction of flying taxis in 2026 and Mars-inspired taxis.
