Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to elevate the New Year’s Eve experience for residents and visitors by offering exclusive access to witness the spectacular fireworks display from the unique vantage point of marine transit modes.

The RTA's special New Year's Eve offerings include Dubai ferries, abras, and water taxis, providing an enchanting journey along the picturesque Dubai coastline.
Wednesday, the RTA took to its official social media channels to reveal the specifics of this year's New Year's Eve deal, including when it will be available, how much it will cost, and how to reserve.
Dubai Ferry Experience
For those seeking a distinctive and memorable experience, Dubai Ferry rides will be available from 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm on New Year's Eve, extending up to 01:30 am on the following day. The ferry trips will depart from strategic locations such as Marina Mall Station (Dubai Marina), Ghubaiba Station, and Bluewaters Station. Passengers can choose between the silver class at Dh350 and the gold class at Dh525. Children aged 2 to 10 enjoy a 50% discount, and infants under two travel for free.
Abra Journey
Abra journeys will set sail from Al Jaddaf Station, Al Fahidi Station, and Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station. The fare for adults is Dh150, and infants under two years old can embark on this experience for free.
Water Taxi Experience
The Water Taxi and Abra are set to run from 10:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with the last ride leaving at 1:30 am the following day. The trip will start at the Dubai Marina station, which is located at the Marina Mall. The price of an abra is Dh150 per person, and a full Water Taxi may be reserved for Dh3750 for a unique experience. Guests under the age of two can experience the magical trip at no cost.
