- The upper level of Financial Road shuts down at 4 p.m.
- The lower level of Financial Road closes at 8 p.m.
- Al-Asayel Road becomes inaccessible after 4 p.m.
- To avoid the 9 p.m. closure, cars must take the diversion along Sheikh Zayed Road.
Strategic Celebration Planning
There will be 32 different spots to ring in the new year, thanks to the Event Preparation Committee's three months of research and planning. Some of the designated places are Festival City, Hatta, Burj Khalifa, and Burj Al Arab. In these designated locations, you'll find 30 support tents that are well-stocked with food, water, restrooms, and lost-and-found services to make sure everything runs well.
Collaborative efforts with partners
Active collaboration with internal and external partners, such as the Roads and Transport Authority, Civil Defense, and the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance, has been a cornerstone of the committee's preparations. A total of 55 partners are contributing to the planning and execution of the New Year's Eve festivities.
Deployment and public recommendations
Al Falasi disclosed that nearly 1,300 vehicles would be deployed to cover all celebration venues, emphasizing the importance of public cooperation. Residents and visitors are advised to arrive early and utilize public transport, with the Roads and Transport Authority deploying buses for free transportation to and from events. Regular updates and advisories will be communicated through Dubai Police social media platforms to keep the public informed about any developments.
As Dubai bids farewell to the current year, the meticulous planning and coordination underscore the authorities' commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone.
