Opportunities in Various Specialisations

The vacancies cover a range of critical roles, including paramedic, medical supervisor, infection control specialist, medical-health quality specialist, pharmacist, and emergency medicine specialist.

Paramedic Positions

A bachelor's degree in ambulance services is necessary for employment as an advanced care paramedic. While basic paramedics require a bachelor's degree in nursing with an approved course in ambulance services and a current licence from the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, intermediate paramedics must hold a diploma in ambulance services.

Medical Supervisor Criteria

A bachelor's degree in ambulance services and a current "Advanced Care Paramedic" licence from the Abu Dhabi Department of Health are prerequisites for applying for medical supervisor jobs. They should also have at least two years of field experience and a certified trainer's certificate in specialised courses including advanced cardiac life support, paediatric cardiac life support, and rescuing accident victims before they reach the hospital.

Specialist Roles

Candidates applying for infection control specialist positions should have a bachelor's or master's degree in the field. Similarly, medical-health quality specialists are required to hold a bachelor's or master's degree in the relevant specialty. Pharmacists are expected to have a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and a valid professional licence issued by the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi.

Emergency Medicine Specialist Criteria

For emergency medicine specialist doctor positions, candidates must be board-certified in medical specialties, possess a valid license issued by the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, have a minimum of two years of field experience, and demonstrate expertise in ambulance services.
