UAE unveils new smartphones, Magic6 Pro and MagicBook Pro 16: features and prices revealed

You can pre-order the Magic6 Pro, which retails for 1,299 euros (about Dh5,200), beginning on February 25 in Europe. Sales will begin on March 1, 2024. These flagship gadgets, which provide expanded features and capabilities, were unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.
The Honor Magic Series, powered by MagicOS 8.0, an Android-based operating system, redefines user experiences by introducing platform-level AI and an intent-based user interface. George Zhao, CEO of Honor Device Co., emphasized the commitment to delivering human-centric innovations and revolutionizing the user experience with industry-leading AI capabilities.
Notably, the Magic6 Pro introduces an innovative AI-powered eye-tracking system, enabling hands-free car control. The Magic Capsule feature enhances productivity by providing instant access to essential resources, while the Magic Portal streamlines complex tasks into a single-step process, facilitating effortless navigation and social media interaction.
Magic Portal supports over 100 frequently used apps globally and provides on-device AI capabilities with open-source LlaMA 2, enabling offline functions like Q&A and text creation. The smartphone's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, which offers significant improvements in CPU and GPU performance for outstanding gaming experiences.
Honor also introduces a new battery management chipset for energy efficiency enhancement, featuring 80W wired supercharge and 66W wireless supercharge capabilities. The Magic6 Pro's Falcon Camera System includes AI Motion Sensing Capture and a 180MP Telephoto Camera Lens for capturing decisive moments in ultra-high definition.
With a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a powerful 50MP main camera with variable aperture capabilities, the Magic 6 Pro ensures exceptional clarity in fast-paced moments.
