UAE announces official dates for public holidays in 2024
At least thirteen public holidays have already been scheduled for 2024, providing UAE citizens with some good news to start off the new year.

Eid Al Fitr Grants a 6-Day Break
One of the most anticipated breaks comes with Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan. The government has designated Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3 as public holidays, granting approximately four or five days off, depending on the lunar calendar. In 2024, Ramadan is expected to span from Tuesday, April 9, to Friday, April 12. Coupled with the regular weekend, this results in an impressive six-day break for revelry.
Arafah Day and Eid al-Adha

National Day caps off the year with a 4-day holiday
The year concludes with a grand finale as December 2 and 3, marking National Day, fall on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.
