UAE Police launch a search for missing teen with autism in Sharjah
The Sharjah authorities have launched a search for an 18-year-old man with autism who was found missing by his parents.
Felix Jeby last appeared behind City Centre Sharjah around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday dressed in a green pullover, green shorts, and a red t-shirt.
According to Felix's father, Jeby Thomas, the incident occurred while the family was shopping at City Centre Sharjah over the weekend. Expressing deep concern for his son's well-being, Thomas emphasized Felix's autism diagnosis, underscoring the heightened anxiety surrounding his disappearance. He appealed for any information that could help locate Felix, stating that it would be immensely valuable to the family.
Thomas, an Indian expatriate residing in the Al Bateena area, disclosed that their search efforts around City Center Sharjah since the previous night have yielded no results. The family has taken proactive measures by filing a missing person's report with the authorities and distributing missing posters across social media platforms.
