UAE introduces Golden Residency and Financial Rewards for Six Roles in 2024
After twenty years of service in Dubai's mosques, imams, preachers, muezzins, muftis, and religious scholars will be granted golden residency, according to a proclamation issued by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Chairman of the Executive Council and Crown Prince of Dubai.
In honor of Eid al-Fitr, they will also receive monetary rewards. This is a continuation of Sheikh Hamdan's annual tradition of honoring these people for their dedication to and significant contributions to society in advancing the teachings of Islam, fostering moral values, and supporting the culture of tolerance that is emblematic of the United Arab Emirates.
As per his usual custom, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the Chairman of the Executive Council, has directed that imams, preachers, muezzins, muftis, and religious researchers who have devoted twenty years of service to Dubai's mosques be granted golden residency. In addition, as a thank you on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, they will get a monetary gift. His Highness's continued dedication to praising and identifying people for their noteworthy contributions to spreading the inclusive message of Islam, advancing moral principles, and cultivating the tolerant society that is characteristic of the United Arab Emirates is reflected in this project.
For the past twenty years, imams, preachers, muezzins, muftis, and religious researchers who have worked in Dubai's mosques, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, have been ordered to be given golden residency and a financial incentive on Eid al-Fitr.
