UAE airlines expand routes to 603 global destinations, boosting aviation industry

By the conclusion of the first quarter of 2024, the national carriers had expanded their global reach to approximately 603 destinations, marking a 3% increase from the 586 destinations served at the end of 2023. This expansion reflects the resurgence of the aviation industry and addresses the escalating demand for travel.

The UAE's stature as a favored destination for both leisure and business travelers receives further affirmation through this expansion. Official data from the national carriers underscores their consistent outperformance compared to their regional and global counterparts. Etihad Airways, with service to 76 destinations, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi with 29, and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi with approximately 40 destinations, further complement the comprehensive network of the UAE's aviation offerings.
