During this time, motorists can expect suspensions lasting between 10 and 15 minutes as the competitors pass through. Once the last competitor has crossed, normal traffic flow will resume promptly. To navigate these changes effectively, drivers are advised to consult the route map provided by the authority, which outlines the affected areas in detail.

Along with the RTA's notice, the Dubai Police also provided drivers with a route plan and asked them to be aware of the roads that will be closed. They emphasized the significance of starting excursions early in order to minimize any disruption that the closures might cause. Drivers may keep their schedules as smooth as possible by preparing their routes ahead of time and factoring in additional travel time.

The men's UAE Tour, the sole UCI WorldTour race in the Middle East, commenced on February 19 and will run until February 25. Covering a total distance of 980km across seven stages, the race features a diverse range of terrains and challenges. These include four sprint stages, two mountain stages, and a 12.1 km individual time trial, offering both riders and spectators an exciting spectacle of competitive cycling.

Stage 4, known as the 'Dubai Stage,' spans 171km, beginning at Dubai Police Officer's Club and concluding at Dubai Harbour. Along the route, cyclists will pass through iconic landmarks such as Downtown Dubai and the towering Burj Khalifa before venturing towards Deira. From there, they will traverse the desert landscape and Al Qudra Cycle Track, passing by scenic locales like the Jumeirah Islands and Palm Jumeirah. The stage culminates with a thrilling sprint finish at Dubai Harbour, providing spectators with an exhilarating conclusion to the day's racing action.

With the UAE Tour serving as a showcase of both sporting prowess and the region's scenic beauty, residents and visitors alike can look forward to witnessing world-class cycling talent against the backdrop of Dubai's stunning urban and natural landscapes.
