UAE: Mothers Endowment Campaign reveals receiving this amount in two weeks
Aimed at honoring mothers, the "Mother's Endowment" initiative was launched during the holy month of Ramadan by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
The fund will be endowed with one billion dirhams to support education across the globe. 770 million dirhams in contributions from people, companies, government agencies, and private organizations demonstrate the campaign's remarkable success in just two weeks of its inception. The initiative is gaining traction across all societal segments, as evidenced by this widespread support.
Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, emphasized the campaign's steady progress toward its objectives of empowering millions of individuals, particularly those in less fortunate communities, through education and skill development. He noted that the campaign reflects the UAE's commitment to philanthropy and humanitarianism, further solidifying its leading role in charitable endeavors.
Aligned with previous successful humanitarian initiatives, the Mother’s Endowment Campaign aims to enhance the well-being and development of vulnerable communities through sustainable educational programs. By fostering values of filial piety, compassion, and solidarity, the campaign seeks to strengthen the UAE's position in charitable and humanitarian endeavors. Contributions to the endowment fund support educational initiatives worldwide, empowering individuals to lead independent lives with dignity. The campaign collaborates with various humanitarian organizations and institutions to achieve its mission of providing tools and skills for sustainable livelihoods.
Contributions can be made to the campaign via six primary channels: bank transfers, text message donations, the DubaiNow app, the Jood platform, and a special website (Mothersfund.ae). This campaign's impact on worldwide education activities is further enhanced by the ease with which individuals and entities can participate in it, thanks to its accessibility.
