Saudia announces the launch of direct flights to Johannesburg from Jeddah Airport
Saudia has begun operating direct flights from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah to Johannesburg, South Africa's Airport in an effort to enhance aviation connection between the two places.
Scheduled four weekly flights:
Flights operated by Saudia now travel nonstop between Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport and Johannesburg, South Africa's airport. Return flights from Johannesburg (SV0448) operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, while four weekly flights from Jeddah (SV0449) are made possible under the Air Connectivity Program.
Operated with the B787-9 Dreamliner:
The flights, employing a B787-9 Dreamliner, incorporate 24 business-class seats and 274 economy-class seats, with the objective of offering passengers a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.
Inauguration Ceremony:
The official inauguration ceremony took place at the Al Fursan International Lounge, attended by notable figures such as Moegammad Gabriels, the Consul General of the Republic of South Africa; Musaed Almusaed, AVP of International Regions Sales; Rashed Alshammari, VP of Commercial at ACP; and representatives from airport government authorities.
