A cutting-edge robot is taking on the task of cleaning a Saudi beach as Red Sea Global, the developer behind The Red Sea and Amaala, introduces technology to promote environmental sustainability. The state-of-the-art electric robot, designed to maintain pristine beaches by addressing plastic waste and debris, boasts advanced features such as the capability to identify objects as small as one cubic cm.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the robot is remotely controlled, ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly beach cleaning. Its ability to navigate around furniture and other obstacles sets it apart, allowing it to cover an impressive area of 3,000 sq m in just one hour.

This innovative robot will initiate its operations at the Red Sea destination, contributing to the preservation of the area's natural beauty. Red Sea Global's introduction of this technology underscores its dedication to safeguarding beaches for visitors.

The Red Sea destination, which marked its inaugural reception of visitors in 2023 alongside the opening of two hotels, has been steadily developing its infrastructure. Since September, the Red Sea International Airport, serving as the primary gateway to the destination, has been welcoming regular flights.

On its way to its grand opening in 2030, the Red Sea megaproject plans to house fifty resorts on twenty-two islands and six mainland locations, with a combined total of eight thousand hotel rooms and more than a thousand residential units. In addition to a variety of entertainment and recreational options, the resort will have high-end marinas and golf courses. By adopting technology solutions for environmental preservation, this effort is in line with Red Sea Global's objective of creating a sustainable and aesthetically pleasing environment.
