On Sunday, heavy rains were experienced in the northern governorates of Oman, including Muscat, A’Seeb, Bausher, Al Amerat, Quriyat, and Muttrah. The inclement weather prompted precautionary measures, such as the temporary closure of the Al Amerat-Bausher Mountain road to ensure the safety of motorists.
Similarly, the Governorate of A’Dhakhiliyah witnessed rainfall in the wilayats of Bidbid and Al Hamra, while the Governorate of South Al Batinah experienced rainfall in areas like A’Rustaq, Al Awabi, Nakhal, Wadi Al Ma’awil, Al Musanaa, and Barka. These rainfall events led to the overflow of some wadis, highlighting the potential risks posed by unstable weather conditions.
