In a robust financial performance for the first nine months of 2025, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, known as du, has announced a substantial 14.6% increase in net profit alongside an 8% rise in revenues. This growth was bolstered by strong operational management and thriving commercial activities across its mobile, fixed-line, and ICT segments.

The company's revenue reached Dhs11.62 billion during this period, improving from last year's Dhs10.76 billion, while net profits climbed to Dhs2.18 billion compared to Dhs1.90 billion in the previous year. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) saw a remarkable growth of 12.5% year-on-year to stand at Dhs5.5 billion, reflecting a margin improvement of nearly two percentage points.

In the third quarter alone, du reported revenues amounting to Dhs3.87 billion — up by 7.9% from Q3 2024 figures — with EBITDA recorded at Dhs1.85 billion and showing an increase of 6.7%. Notably, when adjusted for one-time expenses linked to prior authentication fee adjustments, EBITDA rose by an impressive 16.8%.

The quarterly net profit experienced a modest increase of 1.8% to reach Dhs732 million; however, on a normalized basis excluding previous year anomalies, it surged by 25.8%. Operating free cash flow also grew by an encouraging 11%, benefiting from strengthened EBITDA and lower capital expenditures.

du’s customer base expansion was another highlight with mobile subscribers increasing by over 10% to approximately 9.2 million users — encompassing both prepaid and postpaid categories — while fixed-line subscriptions rose notably due to heightened demand for broadband services.

Fahad Al Hassawi expressed confidence regarding the company’s strategic trajectory saying their latest quarter's achievements consolidate the momentum seen earlier this year driven by solid fundamentals and subscriber growth."

The successful execution of du’s secondary public offering further elevates its market stature through increased share float and investor diversity," added Al Hassawi highlighting its potential implications for stock index inclusion.

This transaction involved portions previously held by Mubadala Investment Company and is designed not only to boost liquidity but also support future investment endeavors aligned with sustaining core business growth as well as expansion into high-potential areas beyond traditional offerings."
