Important UAE: Publicising the Eid Al Fitr holiday and private sector vacation days

The Eid Al Fitr vacations for federal organisations in the UAE will start on the 29th Ramadan and go until the 3rd Shawwal 1444 H, according to a statement released on Thursday by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Human Resources declared a national holiday for all employees working in the nation's private sector.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization announced on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr that all workers in the nation's private sector would receive paid time off between the dates of the 29th of Ramadan and the 3rd of Shawwal, 1444 AH, which corresponds to the 29th of June in the Gregorian calendar. This day is set aside to honour Eid al-Fitr.
